I don't know the answers to our problems, but we need to change our business model if we are losing £8 million a year and i suspect that number will go up with possibly more people not buying season tickets next season if things don't improve.
They need to gradually ship out 9/10 players over the next year and half and get 4/5 genuinely good ones in. And then do something similar in the next 18 months till the entire squad is stronger, leaner and has depth of ability even though numbers will be fewer. Proper, planned recruitment should be priority for quite a while now.
Think it’s fair to assume we were never paying the top 2 figures in wages & don’t believe for a minute Conor was signed on 9k a week either which brings the whole site in question.
You can see why football is fooked, even at the lower levels, when bang average players with very little experience are earning Director/CEO levels in salary.
