    Never come good in the Championship, but brilliant in League Two. Should hack it okay in League One. Millwall have him under contract, but they obviously want to move him on, so we could propose a loan, as I guess that Millwall would want to recoup their expenditure if any move were permanent. Worth a punt? I would say so.

    They spent a fair chunk on him iirc so doubt we would be able to offer a fee big enough to buy him outright but 100% worth a go on loan.

    Proper fox in the box type striker that would certainly put away a lot of the chances our other strikers have missed of late.

    This is the type of player we should be targetting' i know he went for decent money but just hasn't cut it at Millwall.

    That would be a signing to get excited about.

    We are closer to home for him than Bermondsey (he's from Stockton and played in the north mostly) so could be a good fit.

    Wages, be nice but doubt he's in our scale 2nd highest paid striker at Milwall, think he'd be brilliant, if Kone goes to Luton from Wycombe could see them nipping in for him.

    If we can move Benson on and free up his wages (highest at the club) we should have the budget to go for this at least on loan maybe

    According to capology Langstaff is on 390k a year, Benson is on 265k a year, if Millwall want a fee it not far off being a £2m outlay over 3 years, be nice mate but doubtful, loan maybe possible.

    Transfer market have him at £585,000 .Will our board grow a pair? In regards to other poster offer £450,000 and the rest of his market value will pay most of the difference in Benson's wages.

    If he's available he absolutely should be a target, but I'd expect the entire league to be interested.

    Well if that is the case then we could still try for a loan on this lad and Millwall cover a part of the wages. Longshot but you never know.

    Considering we signed players from league 1 & 2 and a free transfer last season in Jan I would be surprised if the player is even an established player never mind from divisions above.
