I turned 40 last month, had a little wobble, god knows why!!

Do as much as you can while you can and don’t worry about other folk!!!

Top tip though……tell your loved ones including mates how much you love them…..life’s very precious, use it wisely!!!

‘Keep supporting the Reds and keep mocking them Wednesday ******** and god will remember’

    Chapter VIII
    Verse VI

    Amen…….

Don't be scared to 'go for it', whatever it may be. If you don't, in later life you'll have regrets not knowing how things may have worked out. At 32 I moved with the wife and young family to live and work in the far east. Big risk - best thing I ever did.

Chill the funk out. You're not old, you're not wise and you'll never be too old to be unwise.

Houses, kids and pensions are expensive but you'll probably need at least two of them.

To maintain physical and mental health you'll need exercise and good company. Five a side, walking groups, parkrun. Find your way to combine the two. You won't regret it.

Look after your back. Learn to lift carefully, keep good posture, stretch and get regular sports massage. Now is a good age to start these things.

Knees are important, look after them, keep them moving and flexible.
It's a bugger when it takes a couple minutes to get outta the sofa and by the time you have, you've forgotten why you wanted to.

They you very much to all who have contributed.

I had a bit of a wobble, got a bit emotional, but I feel better.

It's amazing how consistent the advice is. Boiling it down makes it seem so simple.

    - Money isn't everything, but do prioritise a pension and future security.
    - Exercise, stretch, stay fit and healthy.
    - Don't worry so much about what others think.
    - Work less. Worry less.
    - Make more time for family and friends.
    - Travel.
    - Go for "it" - and trust your instinct that whatever "it" is, it's worth it.
    - I'm not old.
    - I'm not old.
    - I'm not old.

I am definitely failing at the "worry less" pay off the equation. But this has been a huge comfort for me, and I am really grateful.

I wish I'd invested in the companies of Apple, Amazon, Microsoft instead of " investing" in their products

    All this will change.

If times are bad, hunker down, get through it, it will get better. Ask for help.

If times are good, save a little, spend a little, enjoy it while it lasts. One day things might not be so good. Offer to help others who might not be in the good time.
