We sacked Collins in a better position than we are now so no reason the same shouldn’t apply to Clarke.

it's much worse clearly, Collins did have better players imo though and was coming off the back of a really good organised mentally strong unit which Duff had built

In general the football is better under Clarke but he is hampered by our lack of options up front. He isn’t convincing though

We had better players under Collins...play was a slow, laborious awful watch.
Clarke has worse players and its more entertaining but its genrally poor due to basic errors and schoolboy stuff

I can. After 29 games last season we had 10 more points, we'd scored 12 more goals, conceded 5 fewer, we were in the play-offs and within touching distance of automatic, only 6 points behind second place with a game in hand.

I don't think there's any comparison, we were much better under Collins.

I can’t disagree with any of that, except for the occasional excitement quotient.

    Minus a defence and goalkeeper.

Do you genuinely believe that we had a better side under Collins?

Cos I don't. Defence for a start was way worse. We had a right back at CB all season and two kids from non league playing regularly who are now both out on loan away from club cos they are not good enough.

And a CB who Rotherham didn't want. Even when they came down

It's the same, it's called Mladen ball, sack Clarke guess what it will be the same, we spend 750k on a number 10 set up with 352 so we can continue with Mladen ball at all costs.
We play right footers on the left so we can keep playing Mladen ball, the pattern will remain the same regardless of head coach

    Well Collins had better players.

When your best striker in Humphrys who 90% of the time is stood flatfooted waiting to receive the ball your in trouble.

Footballs been abit better overall but today was really awful against a ***** team

Thought Humphrys was a disgrace today couldn't be bothered to barely move a muscle, to make it worse he knew it as well and that he'd stay on

Its still debatable depending on how one assesses the quality of squads under different managers. Personally I think this squad is weaker than last year so the points/goals totals dont correlate. After that its the 'spectacle' on the pitch. Again open to interpretation but although kak at times Clarke has had them marginally more entertaining in my opinion.

At this point yes. Form fell off a cliff though, the performances were turgid at times - and he had a hell of a lot better to select.

But it isn’t better. It wasn’t wrong to get rid of Collins - it was wrong to replace him with Clarke though.

How many turned us down (or weren’t entitled to work in the uk) before we got to his name?

    Results wise, worse.

Entertainment value, marginally (of the very variety) better.

Easy to say that, where's the money coming from to pay him and the coaching team off and add some new players? We don't have a pot to piss in.

I've heard he's talented but lazy but he was shocking today. I feel for Clarke abit with players like him and Cosgrove big clear out needed. No way he will get a year extension.
