100% on the money mate, I know DC tried to tinker earlier in the season and by all accounts wanted to set us up with a back 4, but we just didn't have the players to do so.

It's on Sormaz for me, don't know if it's purely coincidental but from his arrival in late January our home form plunged with the product under Collins getting worse and worse.

Your right though it's one big mess

I’ve been saying this since the start of last season. Especially for home games where the opposition sit back against us.

O’Keeffe has improved this season but I’m sick of seeing wing backs who can’t really defend and can’t really attack, they’ve just got good engines to get up and down the pitch. I miss wingers.

I have no idea who could play full back in our lot though. They had Owen Dodgson today and I feel like he would make a decent full back.

I’d settle for Earnshaw and Hamstead ;)

Sormaz as only been here a short while and most of squad were not brought in by him. We are suffering from the bad recruitment before he came, a number of which are still on long term contracts and will be hard to move on. Some of these are current first team regulars. The club were applauded by many for moving away from short contracts but it does become problematic when they are seen to be a poor fit. Will Sormaz come good, I dont know, but he is certanly not to blame for the current squad in its entirety.

I get that and can see your point, but we've recruited another wingback this window so from that point of view there hasn't been much of an attempt to give the head coach a chance to have any flexibility in formation, in this window and the summer.
Mladen has also had almost 2 full windows and time in between to address the situation regards to the Striker positions and spent 750k on a NO:10, who now plays as a striker and Humphrys who isn't an out and out NO:9, Slonina and Craig were also poor recruits, he's had time almost 12 months, to at least have started a process that would indicate giving the head coach more than 1 option.
