But when we signed Cosgrove on v good money that was ambitious wasn't it? The right type of player etc. And it's not worked - so the point is that NOBODY HAS A CLUE AND SHOULD JUST WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
As I said the other day, this mythical forward who's in decent form and is realistically attainable doesn't exist. Macaulay Langstaff is probably the best case scenario and he's scored 1 in 28.
I think we're as bad as I can remember for a long time. I think over the last decade the strategy has failed, I think the previous custodianship sold to a bunch of blaggers, I think we've got some real problems and I think history tells us it'll take time to fix it. It'll probably get worse before it gets better too. But it'll get better & it could also be so much worse.
That's my big worry. That if we don't pick up this season and make a decent fist of things, then it's going to get a lot, lot worse before it gets better.
Yeah and anyone pretending that this is amazing like the OP is just stirring for stirrings sake. Like any player he should be judged on performances. Like any player playing in a new league in a different country he needs to be given time to bed in. So with those things in mind we clearly need another forward as currently it’s this chap or young Dyer. It’ll be an impressive feat to have a worse forward line than any that has Cosgrove in it but you are right If this is it we will have achieved that.
Personally I couldn't care less where Cosgrove has gone. He's ***** with an appalling work ethic. But sending Cosgrove and marsh out and (so far) only bringing in a guy who's only scored 6 goals against professional opposition in his career isn't exactly going to appease the fanbase of any club is it.
Who's saying it's amazing? Because you'll have to point me to where I've said that or even implied it. I've offered no opinion on this kid we've signed one so please don't put words in my mouth.
You know exactly what you are doing. Don’t pretend innocence. Should be beneath you but clearly is not.
Also not helped by the fact that poor performances on the pitch and a perceived lack of ambition drive fans away. Fewer season tickets sold and even less money to invest. Where does it end?
I don't really want them to appease us. I want them to try and do the right thing within the constraints we've got. If they are signing players on what fans might say on the Internet then we're really f.cked.
I know exactly what I'm doing. You've just misinterpreted it - in no way have I said what's going on is amazing or even positive. I've remained completely neutral to it. It makes no suggestion of anything and simply summarises the contradictions since the news broke on Cosgrove and this Clem kid.
Problem is that they've got such a piss poor track record that the fans don't trust them to do the right thing within the constraints that we've got. The unrest is fully justified and to be honest it's a bit cuntish to belittle fans for feeling how they do. I also see little contradiction with regards Cosgrove and the french lad. I do see what you mean regarding wanting shut cos he's crap but not being happy he's gone to a rival. For me they've just weakened our rival.
im not getting into some very dull debate on the back of your trolling. As I said we both know what you are doing. Leave the ‘contrarian’ stuff behind Hutchins did it better.
