Apologies for the delay I fell asleep and have only just woken up. Anyway I thought the new keeper looked good.
I seem to have wiped the game from my memory. It was only three and a half days back and I genuinely can't remember much about it. I'm pretty sure no-one stood out. Did Nwakali get the vote in the ground? Whoever did get it, I know I remember thinking they only got it because it would **** someone off. Not voting. Don't think anyone deserves it.
Personally thought Russell had a very good game, relative to most of the others. I still maintain that we weren't actually that bad, and with a decent striker on the field we'd have won at a canter.
Absolutely no way on earth was Nwakali MOM on Saturday. His simplist of passes were applauded and to boo his substitution was pathetic. Rant over - I like him but he’s not the new Messiah.
Nwakali does the hard things well and the easy things badly. He shows promise but that’s it for me rather actually delivering on that promise.
It baffles me that Nwakali leads this poll - it can only be on reputation rather than performance as Saturday wasn’t his best game whatsoever. He wouldn’t be in my top three. Opinions though I guess; everyone is entitled to them.
Adam Phillips, the standout player for me, involved all game, something I'd like to see more of from him
Sticky now updated. Nwakali coming on strong. I thought it was he was average on Saturday but the majority have spoken.
Genuinely surprised by that. He seems a mega star off the bench but when he starts he seems incredibly underwhelming.
As I stated above, I like him but it makes me quietly smile in my seat when even the easiest of passes he makes get a ripple of applause as if he`s a maestro.
Yeah I think he has done ok so far. He does have the ability to break the lines but needs to do it more often to be considered a success.
