Anymore news on Rob Staton wanting to interview our owners

I’d like to hear from Mladen but I’d prefer it via the Chronicle, for me Doug knows far more about the goings on at Oakwell. As far as I can tell Radio Sheff don’t have a clue about Barnsley these days. I’m sure they didn’t even have a journo at one of our media sessions the other week, might have been a good reason for it but seemed strange.

I think the context is important. If it's this, then that's a very different response to the flat out refusal that had been suggested initially.

"We're all..." Not all of us. On the face of it, I don't think he's done a great job this window but I'll remain civil until we see the fallout.

He has brought us DKD and Nwakali. Humphrys looked a great buy too. Not really MS's fault he has gone off the boil. Same can be said for Earl come to think of it. So I don't think he's as useless as people make out, despite the misses.

His sacking of Collins while in the playoffs was definitely difficult to come back from though. I didn't like that one bit. Hmm... in fact, slag away.

 

Imagine being the manager of a glorified pub team in Sweden or Austria and walking into the managers job at a 2nd tier club in England.

I wouldn't trust any of our clubs recruitment given we paid money to employ Asbaghi and Schopp.

With the wonders of modern technology interviews do not have to take place face to face. Most don't.

 

Yep that's my feelings wouldn't give the scoop to that lot. We have our own newspaper and as Giddings once told me we are radio Sheffield.

 

Hopefully we have our own interviews lined up on YouTube in the near future. Albeit the questions won’t be anywhere near as tough, but at least we might get some thought processes of the transfer window.

Keith Lodge back in the day of the Chronicle back page never criticised the club.
