Agreed; he's been disappointing. But Humphrys has looked the part in previous matches, for example scoring decent goals in back to back matches against Rotherham and Cambridge. He showed pace, fast feet and could finish. My point was he has the quality, he looked like a decent signing. The recruitment found a talented player. His decline in form is due to the player and/or the coaching.

 

Can probably count on 1 hand the good games he's had, talented boy no doubt, looks to have an issue with work rate and application, a trait that looks to have followed him around previous clubs.
He's popular with fans especially with his social media wind ups and rare goal celebrations, but just doesn't deliver the goods for me, needs to work harder and give us 70/80 mins not just 10 min flashes then dissappear for 60 mins

 

I don’t disagree with you but Staton would ask the questions that we want answered. Doug is great but he has to tow the line and not risk the Chron getting blocked access to the club.

He’s looked both unfit and disinterested lately. Needs to get back to his best if we’re to salvage the season.

 

Agreed, just swanned around on Sat, I was at the game and tbh his body language and application were awful.
