I can remember reading an American article the other year that was about why so many Americans were getting into European football when virtually no one makes a profit and the stuff that they found was it wasn’t to make money from the Football side of things but partly down to vanity but more to aid with the publicity/marketing of their successful businesses because of the widespread reach of football.

In short it’s rarely about making money from football

Same as anything though last season v Northampton last game home ends were full. And football had been **** most of the season. I think the club has good potential when I first started going the fan base grew massively due to the Premier League season and the kept many of those when we were doing well in the championship. Cryne did as well as he could and this lot seem to be incapable of running a club. Build and the fans will come look at Birmingham, Wrexham even Leeds 8 years ago Leeds weren't selling out Elland road they were badly run now they've got about 25k on the waiting list for season tickets.
Shame how the club seems to be on a downward spiral both on and off the pitch and poorly run hopefully this changes soon.

Also the current squad value has little relevance on a potential buyer.

The problem is American 'sport' is mostly franchises...I'm not sure they get or fully understand relegation and how it diminishes their asset.

Danny Wilson over 1000 games experience would have been great
