..we only lost 12 all of last season, the majority of them coming at the end of the season when Collins cracked up - who was sacked for much less, mind…

He’s been dealt a **** hand by the board, but he’s still not good enough for this football club. He’s come from jobs where he’s never had any budget anyways so bare that in mind, this comes as no shock to him.

He’s just a very bad manager. A very, very bad one.

I think as soon as we drop into the bottom half, he’ll be gone. Wouldn’t surprise me if they appointed Devaney until the end of the season and see what happens. Clarke has been dealt an absolute shocker but he doesn’t help himself. Didn’t think today in general was that bad. A poor mistake and a penalty shouldn’t sum up a season but it does.
It’s been the performances against Bristol Rovers, Burton and Stevenage that’s the worry. The Rotherham game in two weeks could well decide his job with it being the second of two derbies.

 

Yes because Devaney's ripped it up when he's had the opportunity previously. No thanks.

This season now looks like it will fade away into mid table mediocrity.

This summer needs to be huge. We need a complete overhaul in defence because there’s not a good defender in any of them. We clearly need attacking reinforcements. Midfield is our best area but given in recent years we’ve seen the defence ripped apart and goals from attackers gone, I imagine the midfield will go the same way.

Hopefully if there is a big overhaul of players it will allow us to get rid of this wing back system. I know today we looked better in the second half going back to wing backs but I want wingers again. Let’s get some proper full backs in and play with wingers in front of them.
