Stead,Devaney and Hourihane do seem to avoid any form of criticism. Surely if Clarke fails then they fail with him.
Wasn't too long ago someone ITK was posting that DC was an office manager and all the on pitch stuff was being left to all the other coaches
I only saw the second half but missed the last 10 mins. Obviously too late by then but thought we looked OK, but obviously missing someone up front to support DKD who had an excellent game and was basically on his own upfront. Had a few chances, Russell especially, but didn't take them. Selection of new lad upfront seemed odd, might as well have given Dyer a game.
Absolutely. Devaney, Stead and Hourihane all equally to blame. They do work on the grass with the lads each day, not just the manager. If you take the title of Assistant, you also have to share the blame too.
I asked this as well recently, that if (or surely its now when) we sack Clarke... what about his coaching team, which also includes Devaney and Hourihane. The players anger me as they should really take more responsibility, for these lacklustre performances. We know they are capable of much better than this, and that's what makes it harder to accept. And also, Clarke has just baffled me today with his choices. It comes across as a desperate manager/coach who is now trying anything and everything, just to see if it might work!. And I'm not even going to waste my time talking about these owners.
Season ticket for 26 years and 60 grounds done watching the reds. I thought the support was poor today from our fans
He's on about their behaviour, I'm on about their singing and support. Think it's been poor at home and away for weeks.
Sat/stood on an open end watching a first half where we were utterly clueless and spineless. Our xg at half time was actually 0.00. We had zero shots on or off target, lost every 50/50 and were beaten to every loose ball all over the park. No wonder the support was poor. The least we deserve is a shift putting in and players to show some bottle for the shirt. That first half was a disgrace and the game over at half time.
The 1st half was shocking we had more possession but played it in our own half. O keffe rarely went over the half way line. Clarke has to take the blame for that especially with the changes.
Watch the replay of the goal connell makes sure he doesn't get in the way of the ball or even close it down fast. I think most of the blame is with pines though.
