Whatever you want to say about the shambles the club is in and I’m not over stretching that. We are slightly better than average first division side worthy of a top half finish. The last person I would blame would be Clarke. He has been honest about his strengths and weaknesses in the side and asked to be strengthened in the weak areas. The response has been Rodriguez. The recruitment team has a lot to answer for and whoever is pulling the strings.
At Wembley two years ago we were the best side that didn’t go up and better than at least one that did. There are probably eight or nine sides better than us in this division now, because they have better balance and better players.

You are correct to some degree because Clarke did not select the players he has to work with however I feel he is not getting the best from the squad of players he has and earlier in the season his constant tinkering with the formation (and yesterday) has not helped with consistency in our performances either.
