He has admitted he got it wrong at Stockport so what are the "board" going to do about it. They have to question his capability. To me he has got it wrong on numerous occasions
If that's true then it's utterly pathetic and he won't see out the season. To tell DC he should be doing better and a top 6 finish is expected despite not backing him in the summer nor last month doesn't actually suprise me with this lot but as you say it sounds toxic. I think he will continue playing Farrugia up front in a move that suggests he's sticking two fingers up at those in the boardroom. If DC goes then Malden and others should follow him out of the door. Maybe at that point there will be a HC available from the northern counties east League.
Well if some of them have got a personal agenda against a manager/coach (which is how it seems sometimes), they won't let the truth and simple facts get in the way of it.
Have to agree with this. As much as I think no-one sets out to be not very good at a job, whatever that may be, it is odd to try an untested approach in a match against good opposition that you haven't got some evidence to suggest will work. I like DC but he hasn't really consistently introduced 'front-foot football' has he? He can do that with any players, it's a mind-set, an energy proposition, and an attack the ball mentality which just keeps driving forward. Players actually need to run at the opposition and play at tempo. If you want them to play front-foot football then train and encourage them to do so - every game.
Do we know if this is true though, even though I do also find it very easy to believe. And its just disgraceful IF they are putting pressure on him like that, and maybe even refusing to back him. And if its true, can any fans still stick up for them ?.
Mladen is on the record as saying that the expectation is that promotion will be delivered this season and that was after the window had closed.
