I'd rather he didn't play at all, to be honest. I don't often take a dislike to our own players, but he's really not for me. As for the coach, I'm rapidly losing any confidence I had in him. However, getting rid of him doesn't guarantee a change of fortunes. I doubt even Sir Alex would come in and get this lot into the play-offs with 15 games to go. It's all just very sad. I feel saddened. However, I'm out for a kebab soon and will quickly move on.
The first goal today was similar to Olaofe's goal for Stockport last week. MDG out of position, no chance of keeping pace with their striker. Similar to Pines out of position and no pace to recover against Stockport. Wycombe constantly playing the ball over the top and exploiting lack of pace at the back. https://www.skysports.com/football/...y-1-2-huddersfield-town-league-one-highlights
No lack of effort from Rodrigues. He chased about all over the place. I think he touched the ball twice: the ball was played into him in the area and he had plenty of time to get a shot away but ended up dilly-dallying and performing some obscure back heel thing. He then did a bit of good work and nicked the ball off a defender's toes putting us back on the attack. But basically we dominated the first half despite only having 10 men. We signed a substitute from a French League 2 side. Who they were happy to release. What did people expect?
I've not had a drop in months. And honestly mate, I don't let Barnsley results affect my mood/life. It'd be horrendous if I did!
Me too. You and I have the same thoughts about that player. I can't remember the last time I disliked a Barnsley player. I think plenty are crap, but I don't dislike them. Humphrys doesn't try hard enough, and it's every week.
the amount of times he gets the ball to him on the apex of the 18 yard box in a game is ridiculously high - and he then never creates an opportunity for a team mate.
looks no different to Dallas - a player who will run fast from side to side when not in possession and chase down defenders and their keeper when they’re playing out from the back - will he score goals and put the defenders under pressure when we have it - probably not.
It honestly feels like we are sleep walking into division two maybe not this season but definitely next unless something drastically changes.
The happy clappers will point to the fact he has the most assists at the club but I reckon 9 out of 10 times he gets the ball he fcks it up
That was crap today. Laid up in bed with a torn left abdominal muscle. Not supposed to walk for a week but that performance was more painful. Commentator thought first half was good. Dont know what game he was watching. Two shots at goal and numerous wasted chances to cross or shoot turned down by O'Keefe (powder puff again) Farrugia (seemed content to let the ball go out and play to whistle) and DKD. (Takes the wrong option so many times). Saw first 20 mins of second half and it was babba.
