Come on then Scott, I'll entertain ya. Who do you want to replace him now that's available, and within budget? And who did you want before we employed him that was also within budget at the beginning of the season? You seem to have all the answers. I'm amazed the board didn't employ yourself.

I've not asked him to recruit a manager, simply because he can't recruit one. I've asked him who would he'd recruit now hypothetically, and who would he'd have recruited at the start of the season hypothetically with the budget we have, when he seems to know who'd be up to the grade, and who wouldn't?

whether or not Clarke is any good is absolutely up for debate. But we know after a month or so you’d just be like this with the new bloke anyway.

 

We all know what's going to happen.This season is now a write off and Clarke will eight walk or get sacked in the next week or so.Connor will get the gig until the end of the season with very little pressure.If he can get a bit of a upturn in results he'll buy the clowns abit of time to either let him have the job on the cheap next season or recruit a Austrian goat herder in the summer,
I suspect the little bit of extra money that they thought they could pocket if we scrapped into the playoffs will have to be spent.I reckon that will be fairly early in the summer transfer window to hoodwink the fans again to buy a season ticket.

See he won't reply to that. He thinks we can sack Clarke and bring in someone of championship calibre. He repeatedly fails to acknowledge these circumstances:

1./ The club doesn't have a pot to piss in and sacking Clarke will mean less money is available. After all, JAQ recently said in those leaked messages that it cost a lot to remove his predecessor.
2./ The external reputation of Barnsley Football Club must be extremely low, who in their right mind with any half decent credentials would take on the role and yes I'm thinking someone like Paul Warne. He'd probably look at the job role and piss himself laughing. We'd be scraping the barrel of league 2 or going down the foreign route.

 

Me too. I said he was a bang average lower league manager and there was no evidence he was ever going to improve on that, and so here we are. This team is more then capable of winning many of the games we’ve lost man-for-man, that’s down to the manager.
