Still surprised both are near bottom Would prefer Spurs to lose but expect ManU since they are really poor
I was just thinking along similar lines - Imagine if we'd paid over £10 million in compo to secure the services of Clarke.
They are so lucky that the bottom 4 are complete dross otherwise they'd be looking over their shoulders fearing a relegation battle.
If Amorim left tomorrow he would surely be the worst manager in premier league history or if he’s not he can’t be far off. Just gone in & played a system completely unsuited to his players with several players out of position every game & has made a team with a top 3 budget that was underachieving far worse.
14 league games, 4 wins, 2 draws and 8 defeats. That's awful by any measure, nevermind at a club that's supposed to be challenging at the top end.
Amorim isn't the problem, no where close to being the problem. That squad is horrific. Given time and appropriate resources he will do great there imo. Casemiro, Lindelof, Rashford, Hojlund, Onana, Maguire, Malacia, Shaw, Eriksen, Jonny Evans, list goes on, there's either too much dross there, too aging/injury prone or just don't give a toss ala Rashford, whilst being on big money along side Casemiro. Mazraoui is ok, De Ligt is fine (nowhere near as good as we thought he'd be at Ajax mind) Martinez is decent, Dalot is ok, Garnacho is raw, Mainoo dropped off loads... Only Fernandes & Amad really with any quality shown this season!
One or two injuries like the previous boss always had to contend with. https://www.facebook.com/share/1557i44ciG/ I don't know what they do there, but the past few seasons the physio room has always been full.
