My son attended the open training session today and loved meeting the players for autographs /photos etc . Yes i know we want on field performances to improve but you have to compliment the club for arranging these activities . Well done BFC
Looks like plenty turned up. Good to see a positive post as well https://x.com/barnsleyfc/status/1891860091587936735?s=46&t=maVwlBVh-IrDYvsuBVjM4Q
Come guy's there due pelters for lot's of thing's but due credit for this, come on positivity isn't beyond us.
No matter what the club does we've got to have the snyde comments. We live in hope that the 'naysayers' one day may say something positive about the club.
It's good. There's lots of little, easy things that they can do to try and bring a bit of positivity just like this. You forget what the place means to people in general and getting kids closer is never a bad thing.
Whilst I am one of the positive ones, and I tire of the negativity, I do think these comments are funny, and are a little well intentioned levity.
One day Oakwell might be a Tesco and with the new houses on Grove Street it would just be across the road. Every little helps. What could be more uplifting than having a supermarket on your doorstep?
Grandson was devastated to miss it. I'd got the tickets but we didn't realise he had a dental appointment. Let's hope there's a next time, soon! And it's got to be good for the players to see there are still fans that look on them as heroes.
The south car park was considered for development for a supermarket but could not go ahead because a supermarket must have direct access to a main road.
