    My lad went with his grandma (an ST holder) and mate from school (obviously not a Barnsley fan) and they all enjoyed it.

    This was clearly a well received and well thought out event.

    Even when we are crap the lads will be heroes to kids regardless; making time to do this does wonders for the engagement of the local area and you know what, the players getting a bit of love and seeing they have plenty of people that love them and want them to do well won’t hurt the squad either.

    There’s enough threads whinging about things. I’ll have posted on most of them. This isn’t the one for that.

    Well done Barnsley FC. You get a lot wrong but today’s open training wasn’t one of them.
