Celtic tonight were brilliant until they scored in the 63rd minute. Then they went 31 mins (including stoppage time) trying to hold out for 30 mins extra time. Why not use the remaining 27 mins trying to get a second? Then if you concede it's extra time. If you don't you win. There's no way of knowing. Although I bet given the chance to play tonight again they'd have played for longer and died knowing.
I agree in principle but I think it's easier said than done. It's easy to throw everything at it when there's nothing to lose and you're going out unless you score. A nervousness is bound to creep in when it gets to the stage where you've scored and actually got something to hold on to, it's just human nature. Plus the Celtic goal will have changed Bayern's mentality and approach as well.
Who cares about Celtic Fc in Europe ehh, or anywhere else where they play, for that matter!. Although maybe Sir Ronnie Glavin still has a thing for them lol. But what your saying there Rickie, is true and we've sort of created that reputation for ourselves now, in games haven't we.
