    I do miss wingers and I’m sick of wing backs who can’t defend and 9 times out of 10 can’t attack but I can’t see us doing it with this squad.

    Maybe if there’s a big overhaul in the summer and we recruit some fullbacks. I hope we do.

    I wouldn’t be against a 4-2-3-1 with Connell and MDG holding. Hes mobile and good on the ball enough to sit in front of the defence

    I don’t think he is good enough on the ball to be honest. If we did go to a back four with two sitting, the two would be Connell and Nwakali.

    Mael would be a candidate to play right back - but there’d be doubts whether he had the engine to get up and down.
