Think tonight's results have seen the Hammer and nails come out and we can kiss any idea of a top six place good bye. Well done to those responsible for our demise
I think the writing has been on the wall on the months after our Christmas run came to an abrupt end. Our home form has been shocking for a couple of seasons now and nothing done to address it. If Collins got the push due to our fall in form and nearly falling out of the top six what does that tell you about Clarke prospects.
I wish I had your optimistic outlook on both accounts lol but both outcomes won't be achieved no matter the spin SD
Our "demise"started after the Bristol Rovers game where we should have been 6-0 up at half time.Since then the coach and the players have been unable to lift their performance to the level needed.
remember we.ve all been on about strikers, well the old adage of buy cheap, buy twice springs to mind
Nail was fully in the coffin at 5PM last Saturday walking up Oakwell lane. After we beat Crawley on January 4th, I really thought we would kick on and cement our playoff place but 6 weeks later and the season is over. I’d love us to change as dramatically upwards in the next 6 weeks but I can’t see it at all.
I've already written off our chances of the playoffs to be honest, irrespective of last night's results. If by some miracle we did get in the playoffs, we wouldn't win them anyway.
Don't really matter how well we do, I can't see 5 or 6 teams above us collapsing to the extent they would give us a chance. Feels like its been a while since we've had a boring mid table mediocrity season.
