It sounds like Orient have actively been seeking investment and/or looking to sell the club to take them to the next level.
It doesn't appear that our owners are.

Oh, we're on our way to the next level. Just a shame it's the next level down.

Currently 8.2 billion people on earth. You not think we can find just one person somewhere who'd be able to run us properly and would want to buy a club with lots of untapped potential?

But it's not his fault remember. We have a non league squad and he's got his hand tied behind his back and can't possibly do better........

Rumours are that it’s linked to one of the sponsers, IF true then it’s just like our Chairman and would explain.

I don't think our owners are as bad as some make out.It appears we're still righting the wrongs of the recent past. When things are sorted we can push forward and be as competitive as the next team in our division, unfortunatly it will be in league one.

They are a London based Club: All London Clubs (with the exception of Bromley for a few years) are a more attractive proposition than us.

What an absolute ****** and coward you are Scott, Having a go at your fellow fans for making a ‘tongue in cheek’ comment.

You really are the lowest of the low pal. And for those of you that liked that post, you’re no better.

    Wimbledon?
    Barnet?
    Sutton?
    Dagenham?
    Wealdstone?

Can you just explain to me how, and more specifically what steps are being taken, the current board are "righting the wrongs of the recent past". I'll even allow you, for the purposes of your essay, to pretend that none of them have been part of the set up since Patrick Cryne sold, even though we all know that isn't actually true.

If it wasn't obvious I'll state I was just talking about League Clubs. That leaves Wimbledon. Q: Are they a more attractive proposition than Barnsley? You bet they are.

When I started following the Reds, we were usually considered a class above many London teams. Fulham, Brentford, Orient, Charlton, Millwall, QPR. Competing with Chelsea and West Ham wasn't too difficult. Things change.

I have to say, that’s a very good question. Im all for looking for the positives, but I’m honest enough to say I don’t really have an answer to that at the moment.

We were annoyed at how we followed a play off season with self destruction. But we seem to be going the same way, only at a slightly slower pace.

I’m not suggesting we’re going to get relegated anytime soon, but not being competitive at this level is only less worse when it comes to attracting support.

To me, we are a ‘passive’ club. We were well placed in January, but didn’t have a window to address our needs, just brought in more players we had to google. Similar in the summer.

Passive is fine if that’s what they want to do. Just float along and see what happens etc, but for BFC fans in the third tier, it’s not going to go down well.

The damage Conman and Lee have done will take some time and money to recover from, if in fact we ever can. Just look at what's happened to most of the other teams they've been involved with. They got incredibly lucky with Nice.

You think to a prospective buyer Wimbledon are a more attractive club than us? Based on what?

Yeah and since then they have improved brilliantly, and we have fallen appallingly.
I keep thinking though, that we should still have hopes about getting back into the Championship. And yet I don't think of L.Orient as being at 'that level'.

New Stadium? Thats way down the priority list - I could see an argument for new West Stand but not whilst we cant get close to filling the ground as is

No of course it's not easy... but surely it MUST be done!.
I still don't believe that there are apparently no options, but then again it might not make us any better.
But I'm just sick of this attitude that we are stuck with them, and we should just accept it under them, and that at least we've still got a club etc.

Backing up a good win at wrexham, leading at Bolton, really need a good 2nd half from Bolton to turn this around and do us a favour
