Hosted by Reds legend Barry Murphy, our latest OAP Luncheon was a fantastic success! Held at Oakwell, the afternoon was filled with great food, laughter, and the chance to reminisce about all things Barnsley FC. With a delicious two-course meal available for just £7.50, our valued senior supporters enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere while catching up with fellow Reds fans. The event was a perfect opportunity to socialise, share memories, and connect with the Barnsley FC community. Barry Murphy, a true club icon, was on hand to host the occasion, entertaining guests with stories from his time at the club and ensuring everyone had a brilliant afternoon. If you missed out this time, don’t worry! Our next OAP Luncheon is set for March, and we’d love to see you there. Are you the guy in the green and white striped shirt/jumper but with shorter hair than last time I saw you?
Are you the one with the magnificent head of hair? Just like the matchday experience, you look like you can't decide which seat you are going to use.
Does one of the lads you sit with in Mount have long grey hair and glasses used to wear the white away shirt from relegation season. Got you mixed up with someone else. The guy with long hair used to buy pies from somewhere. All good people anyway.
George Boardman ex player sat on the same table with Joan, Barnsleys oldest mascot. George sat with his back to the camera with the blue shirt and black waistcoat on ( the lady with the blue and white blouse appears to have her hands on Georges back)
Never knew you were a woman, but you ain't half rocking the Kat Slater leopard print to celebrate 40 years of Eastenders.
