Well looks like we’ve finally ditched that godawful pink monstrosity? Some of the games we’ve worn pink with no colour clash, todays kits are very close to a colour clash

I'm surprised they let us wear it with their white sleeves.

Matches the white flag we invariably wave once the game goes beyond 70 mins.

Do you think we could have worn a pink shirt today against a team in red?

And there was complaints then that the players were struggling with the shirts and it's was a topic of conversation in the crowd. Ref rightly didn't allow it today so nothing to do with the shirt being "ditched" and to be fair, Stevenage - red shirts, debatable

I blame the fa. Shouldn't allow a third kit which is a clear clash with the first kit. If a team wants a third kit it should be mandatory that it is significantly different to the other two to be usable

I see Forest are in their sky blue third strip today. Presumably their "striking grey colour-block design with hot pink accents" away strip clashes with Newcastle's black and white stripes. But why do clubs have an "away" strip anyway? Why not just a SECOND strip, that they only use when there's a clash with the home team? Why wouldn't Barnsley or Forest want to play in red if they could? I realise not wearing their home colours away means they get to play in their third strip more often, which no doubt they consider justifies having and therefore selling it, but it's at the expense of part of the club's identity, IMHO.
