I wasn’t concentrating too much on him but I don’t really remember much to be honest. I thought Kane took more stick with the slight boos and the song about him.
I didn't hear a thing chanted at him, unlike at their ground where he got it all game. Their forum want him sacked. Quite ridiculous when he's had over 30 injuries to deal with this season, with the vast majority being serious, including a few players who have long been out for the season. He's done wonders to keep them where they are.
https://downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/118081/injured-players?page=55 According to a poster they have nine players out, with two expected back this weekend. But as another went off injured tonight that's ten out for now.
Bet he loves us kept him in a job twice this season, don’t forget whilst they where losing their fans had been chanting about his football being **** which considering it’s his first season in charge doesn’t really bode well unless we gets instant success.
Yeah but so what, all clubs have unlucky times with injuries. And Im not really interested in theirs.
Name another club with 30+ injuries this season including a few already out for the season. I know all clubs get injuries but they have had it worse than any club I can remember.
30 injuries sound so much worse than it actually is. Most will be little niggles missing one or two games max. They also have the second best squad in the league, most of their subs would be instant first starters to most clubs here.
Duff has a dedicated thread on T’Udders forum. https://downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/120749/get-shut
I said they'd go up when they employed him, I still think they will (mind you, I've not looked at the table in ages)
Met a Hudds fan yesterday for lunch. Says he's been dealt a **** hand and injuries are killing them. I'd swap them gaffers tomorrow.
Most have been serious. This is just a taste of a fraction of the long term ones MLH has dealt with. To be where they are whilst also carrying Dion Charles without a goal in 17 games and selling their star player Helik during a promotion push without adequately replacing him, is a brilliant job by him. Rhys Healey got injured at the start of the month and is out for the season. Danny Ward is out for the season after getting injured at the start of the year. Kane missed a month and now he's going to miss another two months with his second serious injury when for us he was pretty much ever present in multiple seasons. Mickel Miller got injured at the start of December and is still nowhere near being back. Matty Pearson has been injured for a couple of weeks and won't be back for another month or so. Nigel Lonwijk still isn't back for them and got injured back on January 4th. Ruben Roosken is a couple of weeks in to being out for around a month. Joe Taylor got injured last month and still isn't back for them. Josh Koroma back in October missed over a month with a back injury and last month was out for a bit with a quad injury. David Kasumu at the start of the year did his hamstring. He's only just come back and he went off with the same injury last night. Lasse Sorensen spent three months out injured.
Blaming the fans too, never a good thing. Not sure he's learned lessons from his time at Swansea. Main problem I'm getting from udders fans is that it's lethargic football, very one dimensional.
