Oh and another thing, why did he let their injured player stay on the pitch after receiving treatment last night, to give them chance to ready a sub. Then when DKD was jogging off the pitch when he was subbed, he was hurrying him along. The only difference was that we were winning. How is that not time wasting/delaying a restart.
I clearly wasn't paying attention to that specific incident but I know they changed the rules so you no longer have to go off if the injury was the result of something for which an opposition player was booked. Was it one of those?
no different in reality to MDG he never got the ball even just the player yet we didn’t even get a foul never mind a pen.
2 rank bad refereeing performances the last few days. Which makes the 6 points even sweeter. 3 nailed on pens turned down (the Rotherham defender who rugby tackled Phillips should have been sent off too as not playing the ball). Over 20 minutes worth of added time at the end of the games. MDG sent off for next to nowt. Countless bizarre calls. Although Jon Russell was stupid at that Northampton corner near the end. That was a pen as well. Maybe they are as bad for both teams, but it doesn’t feel like it at times.
No, he just pulled up injured and not from a tackle from one of our players. Basically he was walking off the pitch to be subbed, but stopped about 3 yards from the side line as the sub wasn't ready to come on.
What gets me why don't we appeal the sending off. I know he would get more matches if the appeal failed but it would probably have meant he could have played this weekend and given others time to get fit
