Wrexham were 2-0 up against Peterborough in the semi final of the paintpot trophy and let it slip, ending up losing on penalties.

Thank god Peterborough prevented a Birmingham Vs Wrexham final!

 

You could say it's rectum.

There’ll be grounds for one, I’m sure. It’s just not right allowing little Posh into the final with their small fan base. Wembley Stadium will be appealing…

 

Would love for Posh to upset Brum in the final as well, but sadly can’t see it.

 

I'd love to meet Ryan Reynolds and ask him if he waxes his arsehole.

 

Think Wrexham will probably think it’s best being out of this comp really allows them to concentrate on the league.

Watched last 15 minutes and the penalty shootout. Enjoyable viewing, Sky/Yank filthy rich final ruined

I still think Brum are cheating scum. Spending 35 million in League 1 shouldn't be allowed at all

 

It’s obscene. Depth of their squad is mental for the third tier.

Let's just say I was a billionaire. Bought the club, and chucked 100 million into the pot for players. With nothing expected as a return ie loan note. Pure gift etc.

You would refuse it. Or are we all, just a tad jealous because we aren't having money thrown at us at an obscene level like some other clubs....

 

Best thing about that match was seeing that silly dragon mascot trudging off when Peterborough scored the winning penalty

 

100% envy and jealousy. While I am pretty disgruntled Brum got to spend so much it’s not aimed at them but more at how it’s allowed in a league that teams really can’t compare, so more at the regulations than the team. I’d love for us to be able to do the same!

 

I know one or 2 on this bbs wouldn't advocate what I've suggested. They make their stance clear. I respect that. It would be a perfect world if teams returned to some kind of normality and competition enhanced.

But it's not going to. So as fans, we face the reality that this is now our level, spend what we have (or don't have) and maybe get lucky now and again.

Or, we hope to follow suit and someone with extremely deep pockets feels sorry for us, and chucks money at us in a way that doesn't jeopardise the club if they just walked away
