Ridiculous. He's doing an admirable job under the circumstances. I don't understand what exactly people want sometimes. A clear case of "be careful what you wish for"
Came down with a decent squad made some good additions many predicted them and brum for top 2. Then january spent big and many more on here myslef included predicted them to go up automatically. Hasn't happened and there in awful form. Can understand there fans frustration but there still in the play offs they wouldn't sack him while still in the play offs. Who would do that?
Well the 3 full games I’ve seen them (against us) I wasn’t at all impressed with them. Yes, they dominated us for 2 and a half of those games, but as bad as we were, I saw nothing to suggest they are a top 6 side.
Sounds as though they want their director of football out as well. The Sun have had Nathan Jones linked with them in recent weeks. I appreciate they talk ******** but the pressure is starting.
They have had double figures worth of players out nearly all season. They currently have ten missing..... Matty Pearson Tom Lees Radinio Balker Mikel Miller Herbie Kane Jonathan Hogg Tom Iorpenda Joe Taylor Rhys Healey Danny Ward Three of them are strikers (Taylor, Healey and Ward), with two of them long since been out for the season with serious knee injuries. They were hoping to have Taylor back tomorrow but he's had a little set back so won't be. The injury situation is crackers. The chairman went and did his own version of Jordan Rhodes back in the day by selling the star player (Helik) halfway during a promotion push, with no replacement brought in. They were needing a target man and the recruitment department brought in two really short guys in Joe Taylor and (now) 17 without a goal Dion Charles. MLH has worked wonders with his hands tied. Having to change formation and players from game to game due to someone always missing. Imagine not being able to have a settled team all season, you're in the play offs and the fans want you sacked. Crazy lot.
It rankles that despite all of their injury woes, they still somehow managed to beat us 3 out of 3 times this season. The first game at their place was a disgraceful performance from both sides that they nicked, the JPT one I don't think anyone on the pitch cared but once again we lost out, and the home game the other week they were cack and yet we gifted them the win in the second half. Hope they finish outside the top 6 and Duff gets sacked.
There’s a lower league Manager just been sacked recently (forget who) and the Chairman is on record saying our injuries and suspension issues are well known etc, so said there were reasons they were struggling that were beyond the Manager but still sacked him. Crazy world
Apparently have the 2nd highest wage bill in the league according to something I saw today. And we have the 4th joint with Charlton.
Barnsley fc news page shared it today. Only brum Huddersfield and Bolton paying more in wages apparently.
The team they put out on paper, were better than our team on paper. Proved to be that way on the field too mate.
We gifted em 3 points the other week with two pathetic goals conceded. If we’d won that we’d have still been right in the mix.
