Been critical of him quite alot this season I think he is a talented lad but often seems lazy and half arsed. Northampton and today I thought he was good although was either injured or knackered before he came off.
Really needs a goal though Russell did a great run and put him in and he was dispossessed and Phillips also put him in and he opted for a few stopovers eventually getting dispossessed. But better from him last 2 games even without the end product the effort was there. Keep it up.

He did well at Northampton and I thought he did well again today. Apparently he’s been struggling with illness for a while and maybe that’s why his form has dropped a bit recently. Or maybe it’s simply he is out of form.

He does need a goal. Charlton would be a good place.

I agree I think the goal contributions from strikers had been our main problem apart from dkd. We have Humphrys on 4 and watters now got 6. Both Russell and Phillips have just as many or more from midfield.

He had some sweat on his shirt when he went off today. If he’s at least putting a shift in it’ll come for him - he does have ability. Just needs the effort to give him the opportunity - when he takes one the confidence will follow.

Hope so at the minute his minutes per goal ratio is worse than victor adebayajos at Bolton having both played similar amount of minutes. But I can live with that along as he puts a shift in

I think he's got the character and quality to play his part if we can mount a series challenge for promotion.
He seems like a player that could relish the bigger games.

For a well made lad , he is easily shoved off the ball

Obviously I’d like him to score more but more importantly for me is that he holds the ball up and links up play which thankfully he has done in the last couple of games

I think the one where Russell played him in watters would have been better suited. He didn't have the pace and got out muscled and dispossessed.

He’s so frustrating to watch. He clearly has the talent and at times its an absolute pleasure to see him play but he often tries to do too much. Sometimes he just needs to put his laces through it instead of doing stepovers or cutting onto the other foot.

He should be offering more to the team but i’m still a big fan
