Clarke sounded OK about Gent on Radio Sheffield.

PS - I'm not trying to underplay how painful cramp is. It's totally debilitating. I'm just hopeful that's all it is because you can recover from it much quicker than most other injuries. And that's what it looked like.

Is the post tongue in cheek team mates taking the #iss. No medical expert but if it wasn't cramp how Gent was dealt with would have made things alot worse.

I thought he’d gone over on his ankle & potentially sprained it. A cross came in & their lad came flying in at the far post knocking into Gent & Earl & Gent couldn’t put weight on it after which led me to believe he’d not expected the contact & it caused him to go over on it.

Then it bizarrely looked like cramp a minute later when he was getting seen to but I wonder if that was a separate issue or a way of just passing g time for a few seconds until they decided he wasn’t fit to carry on.

I seemed to be the only one sat around me screaming at our own players to kick the ******* thing out, how dumb are we? We had possession twice during that phase! It looked more than cramp to me and like you explained he was hobbling upfield to not play anyone on. Not a head injury and didn't look serious enough to stop play.

Nope, we were screaming too. Can't expect opposition players to kick it our, but definitely ours should have.

Looked bad no idea why the players were treating it as cramped he couldn’t bear weight.
That said he’ll not be a miss he’s flung a few balls in all season other than that meh

Will be a huge miss if it means Dexter will be playing there

Thought Gent did OK apart from the slip for the 1st goal.

Can't see the reasoning in letting Kyran Lofthouse out on loan, and bringing in Dexter who seems to be no improvement.

I reckon O’Keeffe will play LWB, he’s done it before. Think Dexter looks ok at RWB so if it’s them 2 on Tuesday I won’t be too upset.

Dexter was abysmal right back against Lincoln mate. Honestly. I'd rather play young lads there. In fact he's looked the worst player every time he's been on the pitch. I'll be extremely worried & disappointed if Dexter is on wing back duty, especially against an inform home side in Charlton. He has no defensive nous or positional sense at all. Little wonder why they changed sides to attack down when Dexter moved sides too.

McCann recalled from Peterborough Sports, so injury must be bad.

Farrugia is back tomorrow. Not looking good for Gent for us deciding to do this.
