I'd be really happy if we could bring in O'Connor. Very good player.

 

Much faster than MDG for a start.

 

'Much' is a huge stretch, but I do agree he is faster. And faster than Roberts.

 

Is that overly impressive? I’m assuming centre backs always score highest at clearances & duels. He might only be competing with one other player for that.

Yes, I just don’t have the same excitement for Lopata that I have for someone like Shepherd who I think has more potential. Hopefully I’m wrong & he’s a top player for us next season.

 

Agree tbh. Only because of shepherd's performance at Wigan. I saw summat there, that imo warranted more game time with us. And lopata at least squad back up.
I'm hoping both shake off the potential element and are ready made so to speak. Both will be at the right age or should be for their own careers, to establish starts next season.

 

I genuinely don't get the hate for Earl, he gives everything for the shirt and has qualities.

 

Same. While Roberts and DKD have been outstanding the last 3 games, I would have him in 3rd place.
