Cracking goal and you have to wonder why he doesn’t do it more often

And Benson nearly spewing up after chasing him 1/3 the length of the pitch.

    He keeps getting bloody injured.

He's scored 5 league goals this season which doesn't seem that much. But he's only played 978 minutes of league football. Almost 11 games. A goal every other game. He's got exactly the same strike rate in terms of minutes on the pitch as DKD. We just can't keep him fit. He might be fragile, but from what I've seen he gets kicked to buggery.

What I meant though was that he has the ability to run at defences like that so really should try it more often. I agree he does get injured a lot and that probably has a lot to do with defenders kicking him whenever they can get away with it.

I think part of the injury problems is that he’s barely played for the last 2 years.

To go from that to full pelt chasing everything all game sometimes puts stresses on part of the body that it’s not been used to.

I think he’s had a cracking season so far, and brings a lot to the team. If we remain in L1 next season, I’d be looking to extend his contract. Far better to have someone you already know like Max in the squad…..
