On the subject of coaches just notice MG who I assume is Matt Gilks and again I assume is the goalkeeper coach, giving out instructions to Phillips, seems a little odd would expect it from Clarke, Devaney, Hourihane, Stead or one of the other plethora of coaches we have but not the goalie coach??? When I reeled them off it’s as plain as the nose on mi face we have far far too many dead weight coaches.

One thing that might lessen the blow is on the day the early bird is announced, sack and bench Mladen Sormaz or whatever he’s called, pelt him with eggs in Glassworks square parnd a chuck, that would raise some wedge.

Ive never lost interest. I like to see the club do well.. Always have. I like to see entertainment and skill. Simple as that. Whats the point of seeing skillless punts? Please tell me.

I paid my tenner to the club tonight to watch that joke of a performance, and I definitely don't think we lost to Charlton purely because we're not spending enough. A few extra quid from a wavering supporter isn't going to fix whatever seems to be wrong with the club at the moment.

The point I make is less revenue equals less money to spend to try and rectify ‘skillless punts’ as always that’s the theory. I’m sure most of us like entertainment and skill, but unfortunately it doesn’t always happen, less so this season. I’m not having a go just making an obvious point.

Fair do's. I've just read my reply and it sounds a tad aggressive. Apologies if it came over like that. I'm a big non-season ticket softy really.

Apology not necessary, I didn’t take it as aggressive, but thanks anyway

Correct and the letters to the EFL about this have effectively said this is what the clubs agreed to. I do think the club are rightly concerned. As @YT says it will be interesting to see where we go with pricing. The national insurance employers contribution rises must have hit us hard as well as the other spiralling costs.

I would imagine most/all clubs are concerned but can’t do anything about the SKY deal until it comes to an end unless SKY are willing to renegotiate the implementation of the deal.
Tough call for the owners as if they hold the prices or drop they are basically committing to either putting more money in themselves or the difference coming from other parts of the club including the playing side.

I noticed that, too. I think it was two players in a break, or two substitutes, he was giving instructions to, which I thought was strange.

EDIT: I just noticed that I managed to include To, Too and Two, hopefully correctly, in a single sentence.

I keep watching the good, the bad and the ugly, because I was infected with the Barnsley Supporter Bug back in the sixties, when my dad dragged me along on a Saturday afternoon (then on to the old Fish Market for a few pints of Mussels to take home, to be prepared by my old dad, while I watched Doctor Who).
I unfortunately missed the highs of the Premier League, as I had just moved to the States, and coverage of soccer (football), was not big in those days.
I did, however, have the privilege of suffering the cold Tuesday nights on the slag heap behind the goal in the old 4th Division, with less than 2,000 other hardy souls.
I was at college in Leicester during the Glavin, Banks, Aylott, et al days, but I did get back for many games, including the big midweek game against Manchester City.
I get pissed off when we lose, and elated when we win, but not to either extreme. I just keep coming back for more punishment, as there is no other footie team for me.

All the more reason to get rid of the bloated staffing at the club. It'll be a reyt kick in the balls of all fans if they put our season ticket prices up to keep sormaz in a job for example.

So do the board stick or twist ?
Announce something over next few days whilst there’s a lot of ill feeling or wait a few weeks when that ill feeling has probably grown?

I might sound like a broken record but any letters dropping on doormats email etc has to follow the departure of the DOF/Sporting director whatever his title is.

Aye the silence is deafening. No doubt busy working out a strategy for selling season tickets. Not an easy task…..

They have to spend to accumulate but they sadly don't see that
