Much as it pains me to say it I think you’ll find in terms of world wide fan base Man Utd dwarfs all of them

Genuinely believe Isak & Bruno G will cost at least 100 million. Both under contract until 2028 and both are heavily linked with leaving - especially Isak. Tonali has been unbelievable since his return and he'd be worth a pretty penny (though they also paid a pretty penny for him too). Bruno G, Tonali & Joelinton - that midfield is crazy good when playing together. Add in Miley who looks an exceptional talent at his age, who would also be a very saleable with him being home-grown, and Willock is great as a squad player. Botman is a brilliant defender, Hall has been brilliant, also extremely young, Livramento started slow but has improved drastically. A few more additions to that squad would be dangerous - just a shame I don't think it will happen, because as you say, they have to sell to bring in. A new centre half, right winger & goalkeeper and they'd be laughing!

Agree with all that. I'd also add Gordon, if they sold him now they'd easily double the money they paid for him.

I think Isak will be sold this summer, his profile is such now that he'll be off to one of the really successful clubs. Rumours that Liverpool want him, I reckon cash and a player would suit all parties, hopefully Jota (who I reckon would score regularly if playing) rather than Nunez!!

Sadly a lot would argue the fa cup is not a barometer that measures the size of a club these days.

Though if it was, the fact that Spurs and Forest haven’t much as reached the final of it for thirty four years is indicative I’d argue.

Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have all won it in the last ten years however.

I agree with you mate. I reckon if Wilson could keep fit they'd keep him, but so unreliable unfortunately cos he's a cracking striker too. Jota would be an exceptional signing, but they'd just be signing another Wilson due to his injuries (although I do rate Jota more than Wilson so still an upgrade) so not sure hes the player they'll try get first. Not sure Nunez would be the man either. Maybe try and get Joe Gomez? Although, another injury prone player lol, as they are clearly wanting another centre half with trying to pry Guehi away from Palace for 70 mill.

Nunez was great for Benfica, but just hasn't kicked on as expected at Liverpool. Perhaps it'll click at his next club, but I'd rather that not be Newcastle taking the punt.

I really like Jota, but do accept he has had injuries, but seems to be a risk with a lot of players, strikers in particular, Isak himself has had a few over last couple of seasons.

Not a fan of Gomez. Would prefer Quansah if we're talking CBs from Liverpool.

I dont rate him particularly highly either mate, just a solid Premier league defender. But just not sure who else they'd take if Liverpool wanted to buy isak with cash and player exchange. Versatile, physical and dependable. Whoever isak does sign for, they've a hell of a player on their hands

I appreciate that they have spent alot of money, but it has been spent wisely. Man united on the other hnd have spent just as much if not more and are a million miles away

I think the big one is the outcome of the Man City trial. If City win that & FFP essentially gets sacked off then it’s no longer a closed shop between the big established clubs & it’ll be fascinating to see what happens with a free spending Newcastle & a Villa that doesn’t have to balance the books.

Spot on. That would bring Everton and Forest right back into the equation. I hope Man City do win. Why do you need some jumped up w@n ker in a suit deciding how you can spend your money and if you ultimately win sumat?

I don’t mind if they scrap the rules but I think the only problem with it is it opens up a can of worms where other clubs say we followed the rules when they didn’t & it cost us the chance to compete for trophies.

It used to annoy me when we would follow the financial rules & have to sell our best players yet we’d end up losing someone like Kieffer Moore to a club with smaller gates than us who were cheating.

If Man City win and FFP is scrapped or poo pooed we'll find out what our owners are really in it for. We'll have that clarity we were searching for. They haven't spent thus far in line with FFP no excuse then.
