    Didn't Lineker make around 1.75 million a year from MOTD before his paycut, now I think it's about 1.4 million. Crazy. Not a bad job, all that money for talking about football for an hour or 2 every week! We all do that on here for nowt!

    I’ve never watched the programme nor did I know who he was until this thread.

    Footballers are paid wayyyyyyyy too much. I agree.

    Still ridiculous that the BBC are paying folk silly money to present TV shows that most of us don’t watch (because we are at work) and you and I help fund that by paying MANDATORY license fees.
