I know Clarke not good but he as been well and truly shafted by the analyst who his director of football. And most of the players were here last season but not playing this bad under Collins.

Realistic replacements for him though, who would come to the club?
DKD aside, he has had nothing in terms of recruitment. I agree his substitutions seem bizarre sometimes, but I don't see what another change of manager gets out of the same set of players.
We had a huge chance to push on in the last transfer window, most managers would have done a Robins and walked given that backing.

I get what you are saying, there are all, from the top died responsible for the **** we are seeing week in week out. However, Clarke has to take the biggest part of the blame. What is he doing with this lot of players day in day out on the training pitch? What is he telling them??
He should be getting more out of them than he has done all season. We have no flexibility, unable to adapt and he just seems totally clueless. He is out of his depth.
    Time to go Clarke…

11,563 published gate. I bet it wasn’t l, although I don’t know because iFollow wouldn’t let me spend my tenner today so I couldn’t see the stands. This could be an omen though. Don’t waste it on football; buy 5 lottery tickets instead. Hmm, might just do that.

There was a time when I would be feeling really angry after a result like that. I’m not angry today. Just a bit sad. I’ve seen much worse than this current situation but I fear we are heading back to those dark days of the early 1960s. I started watching a team of strugglers at lower league level who dropped to the Fourth Division. They could have gone out of business altogether.

I just think the club is going there again so there’s much worse to come before it inevitably gets better. I suppose the message is “stick with them” but I know how hard that is right now.

Right. The squad is if poor quality and is threadbare to say the least. That sits with Sormaz and the owners who've allowed Sormaz to do this to the Club.

That being said. The quality of the squad is irrelevant when you look at the effort and desire displayed on a match day. That is down to the Coach(es).

We are slow, we are unfit, we have no shape, we have no cohesion. In transition we absolutely fall to pieces. That is 100% on the Head Coach.

So, to sum it up. We're a complete and utter shambles on and off the pitch, being run by amateurs having the wool pulled over their eyes by chancers like Sormaz and Clarke who cannot believe their luck that they're still in employment despite being woefully underqualified.

There's no fight from anyone at the Club. Players aren't bothered, they're getting paid choose what happens. Clarke doesn't seem too bothered, he's getting paid, has excuses lined up for days and will get paid up whichever way his tenure comes to an end.

Sormaz strikes me as a bit of a weasel, he knows the owners haven't got a clue, so he's been able to get away with murder, and probably dropping Clarke in it to the owners to deflect attention from himself...lying, fat chancer.

We're a total mess, but we don't have anyone in the building with the böllöcks to come out and say it. Only when you admit you have a problem can you really start to rectify it.

To be fair, he'd get lambasted if he didn't. At the end of the day its the players on the pitch that just aren't delivering. I think we over estimate what a manager can do during a match. A change of shape wouldn't fix a player not being able to pick out a red shirt or put in a decent ball into the box. Two poor goals conceded with the keeper at fault, we don't have an alternative at the moment so we?

It's frustrating at the end of the day as even the squad we have should still be capable of top 6 but they just aren't doing the basics right. Blame Clarke, bring another manager in, blame him, repeat and rinse. Duff failed with a very talented squad to get us out of this league.

Large scale changes needed, today could have been the glimmer of hope but it wasn't to be. Bring in a load of our U23's now until the end of the season. Have a good look at them and assess what we really have.

Yeah, I think the ‘10 players out’ excuse only goes so far mate. It makes it sound like we only had 1 regular starter and the rest filling in, which is far from the truth.

Of course it weakens our sub options, but the starting line up, with the exception of Phillips, Earl & MDG was full of regular faces.

I wouldn't trust the owners with a replacement, there's not enough football knowledge amongst them. So when that happens you then get football people in positions like DOF or recruitment, we've chosen an analyst.

Well said there has I've said before the majority of the players in the team were here last season but they seem to have no interest at the moment his this down to the coaching there getting at the moment most seem to have gone downhill.

The time to play a wildcard chip was getting Warnock in during the Championship relegation season. Again the powers that be thought they knew better.
