    I get that it’s ***** right now and if the season had 35 more games, I’d say we would be in trouble but you have no way of knowing what will happen in 2 seasons. Football changes too quickly to make any kind of prediction like that.

    The evidence out there on the pitch has us in tenth. 19 points above the bottom 4. I get we’ve been bad but we’re still tenth. I get that isn’t good enough but to then leap to it meaning we’ll be in league two soon is misguided.

    The form table over last 20 games has us 14th. Last 10 games, 20th.

    If we lose a couple of our better players this summer and continue with the same disastrous recruitment of January, it's not a stretch to see us in a struggle next season. Carry it on into the following season....

    You can see how people can see trouble ahead.

    I get it. But it feels like that view is if you just look at the negatives and then project further negatives you end up with a negative outcome.

    the op suggests it’s daft if we don’t agree with that. I’m not sure it. I dunno I just think it’s over the top.

    In the context of the suggestion we are on a fast track to league two, our league position.
    I’m not here saying everything is amazing but we’re tenth in the league. I agree it’s below where we had hoped but I’m not sure it stinks of league two soon.
