For the season, back at the car left after 3rd,
Slow, predictable, no movement, no plan, sideways backwards diabolical possession football.
Massive massive changes required, buy cheap buy twice, we're reaping the rewards from it, didn't renew this season missed 6 home games but I'll be dammed watching that.
I've defended Clarke all season but that's indefensible, it's broken beyond belief, Sormaz needs to **** off and quick, Clarke will be gone as the sacrificial lamb of early bird, clear the lot for me.

3 down and we played the same super slow tactics with the ball moving backwards and sidewards.

3 up and Blackpool kept running at us with the ball and playing lovely forward passes and through balls.

I wish we played that way.

I would offer him a job with the youngsters but the first team need a total new set up. Who would you trust to re build it tho? Certainly nobody currently at the club.

A team below us in league too, hardly with a team of superstars. Well organized, well coached, saw our weaknesses and exploited them all game.

Blackpool have some proper footballers though and a gaffer that knows the game inside out. They haven’t packed their squad out with a raft of cheap punts….which helps a bit.

44 years I've be coming to Oakwell ( some a lot longer) but iam not paying good money to watch that shower of s hit. Its as poor as I've seen in 44 years and I've seen plenty of poor Reds sides.

Spot on. I went last week and l was bored shiteless with the football, never thought I'd say that after scoring 4 goals. Slow, boring possession football. Reason l knocked it on the head this week, £30+ saved - I'm over the moon!

Don't know who the fitness coach is but he wants sacking as well. I've never seen a Barnsley team as unfit as this one. Every team we've played at Oakwell looks miles fitter than us. We're slow, ponderous and lacking pace. They're blowing out of their arses after an hour especially in midfield. Only DKD looks match fit to me, the rest need to have a good look at themselves.

You could be right, maybe just a little bit of sentiment on my part. I think he is probably a good role model to the youngsters coming through, loyal to the club/town etc.

Re Clarke, not his biggest fan but he can only work with what he has been given , which he doesn’t agree with as seen in latest interviews

I liked him as a player like yourself mate. But for me all the current coaching set up need to be accountable. They will all have a say and surely they are involved in organising the set up, formation etc., obviously we don’t know what goes off behind the scenes but I don’t get the impression that Clarke rules with the iron fist and doesn’t listen the the other coaches around him. We have been a slightly better watch than last season but we are so disorganised it is unreal. We need a big reset from Sormaz downwards.

I stated at half time...that it looked like triers v footballers and that's how it turned out.
A massive difference is our transition with the ball...the squad assembled has no bite or pace and because of that we lumber forwards and backwards like oil tankers....it really is a terrible squad...where's the press...that should be a minimum requirement...but our players don't even have that.
We have one of the best passers of a football I've seen in 50 years watching this club...yet we can't play him because there is literally nothing around him, to help and if he does knock a 50 yard pass to a player...they lose it...same as the forwards.
The amount of times I've seen 10 yard passes go astray or go under their studs for a throw in is just horrendous. Arggggghhhhhh....for gods sake!
If there's one positive its that our season is over (it was a bit ago tbh) so we can blood our young uns.
    Final word......RECRUITMENT....just that.

    Too many poor players
The obsession with playing a back 3
    No strategy or strength
No willingness to give the home grown players a chance
    Poor management and recruitment
