Yeah why are we losing so much money each month then, and constantly needing cash to plug the gaps.
I'd say as the owners of the club, its their responsibility to keep doing that for a start.
And if they don't like having to keep doing it (and surely nobody in their right mind should like it), then what are they doing here.
In the short term future, of the next 2-3 years, I wonder where they are hoping or expecting to take this club.

They should at least be looking at where every single penny of that £700,000 is going and who is contributing to wasting it

that’s all well and good but if the owners are pumping that amount of money in why not pump money into the right area I:e the players instead, how much Maladen been paid. I bet he is on a 6 figure salary. Judge us by are actions.

I was asking somebody else that question by the way.
Just posting 'What planet are you on', when the poster was making some interesting suggestions on this subject, didn't make sense at all.

They are. A huge chunk of the Club’s outgoings is the players wage bill. I imagine Mladen’s salary will be a relatively small percentage. We need a DoF. Just not this one.

Be nice to have some owners who could run the club properly.

Like how? Given there fiscal constraints, would you like to see us millions in debt? WE have to find a balance, blame the EFL and FA. How can we compete?

    Answers on a postcard.

Are you happy with the current ownership group? Do you think losing £700k per month is sustainable going forward? Have they made any efforts to reduce costs? Underwriting £700k losses per month is a huge thing and without that then yes we'd be really in the **** but it simply isn't sustainable is it? How have they allowed the finances to get so bad in the first place?
We have a bloated squad, lots of backroom staff, Flatbread, Mlade. It's a ******* mess and I would like to think they are looking for someone else with a different vision to take over the club. Someone with a bit of financial nous. Whatever happens costs need cutting pretty damn quickly.

I'm not against the owners and credit to them for having the enthusiasm to take us on but it baffles me why they don't get the advice of a proper football person to guide them. Wilson, Warnock or Mcarthey have forgotten more than Mladen contributes.

The present owners strike as reasonable people possessed of integrity. They are also, in their own way, successful business people. But given the current state of the club - especially as a loss-making business - there seem to be only two alternatives.

The owners could inject sufficient funds to not simply prop up the month to month losses of the club, but to improve the playing squad with the aim of facilitating a realistic shot at Championship promotion and stability. It's their choice - and no-one should demand this of them.

Alternatively, they could trim the club's monthly/annual expenditure so that the club is sustainable, even if - and probably - that means we operate in a lower division.

Bumping along as at present seems an aimless existence which is guaranteed to continually disappoint the supporters.

A honest and realistic assessment from the Board would be helpful in managing expectations going forward.

Wished I could like this more than once. They are the issue, not the current incumbants.

The club is losing money because they’re trying to make the club competitive. They’re spending a fortune on wages to try and give the club the best chance.

Do i think the players are good enough? no, but it’s not because of lack of investment. Sometimes players just don’t work out for one reason or another

If they wanted to save money, they shouldn’t have signed some pub player from France, and could have given Dyer some minutes instead! It couldn’t have been any worse than that panic buy just to show the fans that we have signed a striker!

That’s not fair mate. We’re all disappointed with how things are going. I don’t think anyone’s happy just to have a club.
