Apart from it being inaccessible, dated, uncomfortable, cold and draughty?

But every year we've finished lower than the season before the squad as been weaker the head coach poorer. I get that they are putting money in the problem is year on year things are getting worse with no signs of improvement in fact the exact opposite things are getting worse the longer their tenure goes on and sooner or later the penny will drop but we could be in L2 or worse before it does, how hard do you think it will be for them to find a buyer then. It's all well good saying they are keeping us afloat but we aren't even treading water we are sinking and the more they **** up the more it will cost. I dread to think what the season ticket sales will be next season if nothing changes. The status quo is not sustainable something has to change or the club just dies a slow painful death.

We have owners running us at massive losses. I'd prefer owners who can balance the books.

Indeed you are, but that doesn't answer the question.
I just don't understand the weird comment 'Which planet are you on', to the comments he was making.

Well said TTTF. The problem is Professional Football across the board and fans who just push their club to compete regardless of the consequences.

My post does not suggest that nothing happens. I advocate, at the end of the season, a wholesale change of those who secure and coach the players.

I agree that without some sort of change, we will carry on drifting down the pyramid.

Find me any owners in the football league who can do that - who aren't absolutely dross. I'd be surprised if you can manage it mate

    Agree.

It’s sadly how football currently is.

And then you add increased running costs due to the energy bills, increased material costs and increased NI etc.

I bet relaying the pitch alone each year has gone up 45% since Covid.

Running the floodlights on a night game will be a fortune - and they’re still not LED either.

Turning the undersoil heating on will be a fortune in gas too every winter…..

On top of that, aren't we supposed to be repaying our covid loans soon as well?

Like I said, I'm fine with the criticism mate. They do deserve a lot of it, because they've got a lot wrong. But it needs context & realism. People who genuinely get on at the board about losing money every month is just disingenuous, it's true of most clubs.

And even then, they would still be patting each other on the backs, if the club was making any sort of profit.

So if we didn't lose 700k a month we would drop down the leagues? No we wouldn't.

Be nice if people didn't live in the dreamworld of expecting instant results..... the last regime caused a lot of problems, this regime is trying to fix them and keeping us afloat while they do. Every staffing change costs money and needs time to see if it is working. Nobody has the magic wand that some people are clamouring for.

And I don't see a queue of billionaires lining up to buy us and spaff a fortune all around the club.

I'm gobsmacked how easily so many fans are accepting of having owners incapable of operating a business without losing vast sums of cash every single month.

Instant results? This is going to be the 4th consecutive season of decline. We are going the wrong way.

Fans who have watched us for decades are staying away, which is sad.

Can you explain to me please like I am 5 the constructive steps this regime have taken to improve anything at all since the last regime. Because people keep saying it as if its something obvious or tangible but to me, literally every observable metric is clearly worse than it was under Conway.

    The team is worse
We're in a massively lower league position
    The manager is worse
    The administrators are worse
    We lose more money annually
    We have less fans
The stadium is even more decrepit

What have they done? Theyre fuucking inept.

Putting £7 or 8 million a year in for a start. Conman and Lee absolutely destroyed this club (and others), it'll take a while to resolve the mess they put us in.

The thing is though, how do we know if this is true ?. Even though for whatever reason, some fans keep saying it and believing it.
Yeah I know there is the danger of be careful what you wish for, the next lot might be worse etc.
But I'd like to think there are some options at least. Instead of the awful idea, of being stuck with these lot for X amount of years.
