I like the idea of having McCarthy or someone similar involved in some capacity. Even if it’s upstairs to provide a bit of advice and support to the board. Clearly the owners put plenty of money in and have good intentions but they’re not getting the value out of it at the moment. Maybe having someone like McCarthy involved might help with the decision making.

I do know that I lumped on Blackpool to win today when I saw the team news & there wasn’t any part of me that did it because Clarke is our manager. I did it because I think the first 11 is weaker than the last two seasons & that the back up players are far weaker than the back up players from the last two seasons.

 

Why Conor, he’s stood side by side during this season. All the reasons for potentially being an influence at this level I.e an integral part of a promotion winning club last year and a fantastic player at a higher level, also work against him stood cross armed as we weakly surrender to teams with worse players.
