Worth remembering how much better he made Kitchen & that Thomas was a kid on loan from Burnley that Duff had brought through the academy. Same as Phillips.

He would make this lot better imho. Like he did the last lot.

Duff also had Bobby Thomas Mads and kitching as his 3 center halfs.. bit off an upgrade is that..
We've also had 4 different goalies this season and not one as good as liam Roberts or Harry Istead
This club/team is miles away.. not sticking up for DC it's only going to end up going a certain way for him ..but you can change the manager all you like , the old saying "deckchairs in the titanic" string to mind..

All things considered can see why he left and probably overlooked us again he’s worked under this shambles of an ownership already. Hes probably been very unfortunate with injuries but out of that and Swansea I bet his bank account looks much healthier now.

Ridiculously shortsighted decision in the crazy world of now now now football.

Would have him at Oakwell by midday.

    Up the Duff.

I'd have him back. Even when we lost we still gave it our all and he organised us pretty well.

Not sure, struggled with huddersfield, they have spent alot of money on players he wanted, sorenson, Charles etc, plus he couldn't wait to get out of the door to leave us so f him

They've put their Academy manager in charge for rest of season.

I work in Huddersfield and I'd go pick him up and drop him off if it meant offloading our gobshyte.

I doubt he'd come until the summer due to compensation, but I'd be tapping him up now. Duff with Connor as his assistant and Big Mick as D of F. Might not be a panacea, but surely better than the current shambles.

Correct. I reckon he'd get a lot more out of Humphrys than Clarke is currently. Would also have our defence far more organised, and I suspect would probably get Luca Connell playing again. No room for sentiment in football, and no room for grudges either. He was a brilliant fit at our club and would be a very obvious upgrade on the current incumbent. An absolute no-brainer for me.

Some players and managers do it with one club and can’t do it anywhere else. Duff was successful with us and I enjoyed every game we played with him. At the moment I’m asking myself whether I want to watch another game this season.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Warne ended up there in the summer.

As for Duff, I’d take him back this minute. I feel like it would be more of a season ticket selling point than Hourihane too, if Clarke does end up getting the boot.

I notice his post match interview blamed the players for yesterday's result.
