Amateur hour that race. Bookies will be pissin themselves. Big tall horses shouldn't be falling over tiny little hurdle fences. State Man went and did an Annie Power.

I think the events of today show why the concept of an odds-on horse in a 3+ mile course over jumps shouldn’t exist.

£31.20 for four pints of Guinness!!! It's costly to drink to forget the loses.

    Christ, I'd be sick.

Also, how far would Lossiemouth have won by?

I don't know mate. Bit gutted right now because when State Man fell it hampered my second selection Burdett Road.

You can see why some think its better sat with a drink and watching Cheltenham in the winning post in Benidorm.

Got a big price on Duffle Coat e/w and backed Hasthing sick isn't the word and after the Champion hurdle. Didn't think that could happen twice in a day.

Well, the Champion Hurdle was a fantastic race to watch if you hadn't got a bet in it! Likewise the Arkle. Very good training performances from Lucinda Russell and Joseph O'Brien. Good start with Kopek Des Bordes, although the winning margin was less than I expected.

I'm with Ballyburn (2.00) at 13/8 today, but he's not a bet now at 4/6 best. I resisted the Bet365 6/4 boost for Constitution Hill, but if they make a similar offer with Jonbon today I'd be a player. I suspect Energumene's best is behind him, and I don't think Marine Nationale's form is up to the level of Jonbon's.
