Then he wants to get on radio Sheffield to thank fans and while on say "unfortunately I'm unable to share my views on the sporting director, the transfer windows or on Conor hourihane due to signing a NDA that prevents me from giving my opinion on that matter" Doesn't say anything, doesn't break any NDA but utterly disgraces the club
Ironically wonder how much it has cost us to terminate his contract. Couldn't we have just spent that in the transfer window. Now it's just dead money.
Many of the NDA's I've had to sign down the years factored in confidentiality of the NDA even existing.
I guessed after sacking Collins cost us abit they probably had a clause where once the play offs are mathematically impossible we parted ways for nothing. Maybe they just said a small fee will you go Darrell?
JAQ said it cost us a fair amount to sack Collins, don't imagine it being any different with Clarke. That will be lost on a number of posters on here who are likely to moan and moan when we don't spend a penny in the summer.
I'd hope this also puts to bed the ridiculous admin rumour nonsense. God knows why, but this decision shows our owners are still 'engaged' and pulling the strings. If you were looking to sell, it wouldn't make sense to create more upheaval and burn even more cash.
If he did that it wouldn't look professional so he'd struggle to find more jobs, as it wouldn't be a good look.
But equally, recruiting players for a coach who's incapable of developing them, motivating them or using them effectively is dead money.
