    Yes 100%. If these owners want any progress the man must leave. Probably more unpopular than Khaled which is quite an achievement.

    He's allowed one. He's been in the job 12 months, was brought in knowing his inexperience and I think he needs the opportunity to have another go.

    One more failure in terms of an apppintment and he'll be gone.

    I get that it was a joke and I'll be honest it made me laugh a little because it was a funny joke but I completely agree, while it was intended as a joke its a bit over the line if he reads it.

    OK I'll go against the grain a bit... The problem is that it's difficult from here to know exactly how much of the quality of signing is down to him and him alone, and how much is down to other factors.

    I can't imagine anyone else in his position would have had access to a different list of players to sign, and the manager did have some input, so the question becomes whether the club couldn't attract better signings due to prices, clubs unable or not wanting to sell, players wanting more wages etc.

    What we have lacked is a solid back five. We've had too many mistakes in there and it's cost us. Scratch off a handful (of many) poorly conceded goals and we're 3 wins better off and sat in the playoffs. As it is we're in full meltdown and the only person keeping his job is the groundsman. :D

    One what? Failure of a head coach appointment?

    If that wasn’t coupled with getting gradually worse on his watch and two absolutely disastrous transfer windows, maybe.

    It was a mistake giving someone with no requisite experience (nor apparently aptitude) for selecting coaches and players that much authority.

    It needs rectifying.

    It's been poor so far, the summer window. I know january is always a selling window but the players brought in we might aswell have not bothered.

    In his statement he says they want to get back to an attacking pressing style of play.... interesting.

    The ones who appointed him are putting millions of there own cash in each year so we sort of let them off.

    His job isn’t just to recruit head coaches. In my opinion he probably got that one right. What he’s got wrong is the player recruitment, not providing his HC with the tools to finish the job.
    I’d also say it’s time for a clear out in the assistant coaches department. The HC should have some say in who he wants and we don’t seem to be interested.
    One final thought, this idea of the playing identity should be dumped too, as it hasn’t been any use since Val left.
