I wouldn't be against the idea. I'm always of the opinion that the manager should be given more time, until they've absolutely proven they're not good enough. Even then, stability is better so I'd like us not to change manager every season, it makes it easier to form a team.

Clarke has missed the playoffs this year, which was poor. But why did that happen? Was it because we were crap, or because he's been given a ridiculous(ly poor) squad to try to achieve it with, and no signings of note in Jan?

I think he's been hard done by, they're using him as a fall guy and trying to appease us by putting Hourihane in til the end of the season, in the hope they can find another Val.

We've needed a striker since Cole left (or packed up his tools last January), but they've done little about it.

 

Instead of.improving, performances have dropped off over the season. He wanted the players to run through a brick wall for him but they wouldn't run through a puddle.We were top 6 for the large part which proves we are capable of challenging. He wasnt helped by injuries to our centre halves but I just think he'd lost the dressing room and was a poor tactician.
