Just had a quick look at the Gold Cup I would not back the favorite at that price so I think I'll have a tickle on The Real Whacker each way latest price is 33/1
Got a nose hair share in Gibbs Island who runs in the Triumph hurdle. Home safe is the main priority, anything else is a bonus
Another tough day where it may be sensible to keep one's dosh in one's pocket. I think in the 2.00 Hansard looks underrated so I might have a couple of quid on it each way. That'll be it for me though. I may be a mug but I'm not a complete mug....
You’ve done it now …. we’ll all be flocking round to Egham for the celebration. Get some Guinness in !
Must say I did think there were more possibilities today than yesterday (no bet). Chances are though, I'll be poorer and wiser by 5.30 pm! I thought that East India Dock was pretty solid in the first. Nicky has Lulamba in that, but EID has the solid form (including over course/distance) in the book. I like Absurde a lot in the County Hurdle, but I've saved on Kargese with Paul Townend surprisingly opting for her. I think Derryhassen Paddy is a horse with enormous potential in the Albert Bartlett. He'll need to improve, but as I forecast on Wednesday, the 12/1 didn't last long. He's now 8's generally. Away from the betting, it's exciting to have the possibility of Galopin Des Champs joining the likes of Arkle and Best Mate (or Golden Miller and Cottage Rake, for those who go back further!) I think Banbridge and Inothewayurthinkin are very live dangers, mind. One to enjoy, rather than bet on!
I've backed 3 more today 3.20 - Sounds Victorious 5.20 - Minella Sixo / Raglan Road The favs are in so far, hopefully punters are clawing a bit back.
Well done thanks for all the input, looked at horses i never would av, backed the ones i fancied and had a great 4 days.
