My wife took the dog for a walk and was walking down Ash Grove near the school and saw 'police officers', the crime scene tape and loads of flowers in the car park at Minsthorpe baths and thought something had happened for real, before she twigged that they were filming scenes for the drama.

SKY currently showing the remastered 'Homicide - life on the streets'. Looks as dated as The Wire does now but still a bloody good watch. Just coming up to the end of series 3 after starting on it last week. Would recommend to anybody who enjoys police procedurals or American dramas.

Have to agree. The single shot per episode, the performances of Stephen Graham and the lad they had playing Jamie - me and the Mrs put the first one on last night and didn’t move off the sofa until the end of the fourth.

    Great tv.
