this is one of those games where tactics and skill go out the window and it simply comes down to who wants it more, and it ain't gunna be us

we haven't won any second balls, we need to up our game, unfortunately i don't think we have the players to do that.

 

looks **** on the tv too. Almost a carbon copy of the majority of our games where we have failed to turn up.

 

Based on the past 9 games, I think we may finish 10th.

I’ve experienced just about every emotion whilst supporting this club. Today I just feel sad. That was possibly the worst 45 minutes, based on the level we are playing at, that I can remember. Hoping for better second half.

I didn’t think the result of this game mattered before arriving and I still don't.
What does matter is the energy and effort these players bring to the 2nd half, because the disconnect between this team and the fans is huge and still growing. They need to show they give a toss.

 

absolutely right we have far too many fair weather players who only turn up when things are rolling our way

 

It's curious that Benson seems to be the player out of position but everything is coming down that side with O'Keeffe barely used for long periods out on the left.

 

Excellent first ten minutes. Looked like we'd remembered how to pass a football and move. Concede the goal and then proceed to make Mansfield look like Real Madrid for the next half hour before waking up just before half time. The pitch is nearly as horrendous as our performance.

On the upside of things, Flavell has looked solid. Though his kicking is a bit dubious. Pretty clear why his mates at school shoved him in goal.

 

Is Robbo injured?

 

Ref being inconsistent as **** again,

just stopped play for a head injury for them yet happy to let them play on first half when we had a player down with a head injury.

 

I'd assume so. Can't be a tactical switch surely?

 

Jordan Rhodes will definitely score for them.
